		<description>Gary, nice post. I feel strongly that nonprofits are better positioned than anyone to use social media to their benefit. They have a ready-made support base and will always get a receptive audience, unlike most for-profits.

I&#039;d also note that the new Facebook redesign does a lot to help nonprofits that are using it. It&#039;s a lot easier to see new photos, videos and other updates by nonprofits you&#039;re linked to. I think that&#039;ll do a lot to keep people involved instead of donating once and moving on.</description>
